With the overwhelming success of Annamaet Re-juvenate, a fish based grain free senior formula introduced in 2018, we decided to make a book end product to be included in our Original line of dog foods. So, this spring we will be introducing Annamaet Original Senior Formula, a red meat based grain inclusive formula!

Annamaet Original Senior is a grain inclusive formula that will include lamb and white fish based protein sources to optimize amino acid profiles. The formula contains turmeric, one of the most potent, natural anti-inflammatories. Original Senior also includes coconut oil, a rich source of medium chain triglycerides well known for optimizing elderly brain function. We have also added pumpkin to help aide in digestion. This is a higher protein formula to support lean body mass, as research indicates the increased need for proteins in aging dogs. Annamaet Original Senior is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for gestation, lactation and maintenance.

Annamaet Original Senior has been fed to over 80 dogs between the ages of 9-12 years of age for 6 months in accordance with AAFCO feeding trials. Extensive blood work on a select group of these dogs has been performed and Annamaet Original Senior is maintaining health and vitality in these dogs.
